Earlier in the week I sent this to my newsletter subscribers (not on the list? sign up HERE and get my free “Discover the Perfect Start to Your Day” e-course too!), and it’s such a cool and FREE offer that I wanted to share it with everyone! Before I promote something like this I like to investigate it myself, so I’ve listened to all four lessons. Check out my thoughts on each lesson below!!!
Like me, I’m sure you worry a lot about the health and fitness of your family! You want everyone to eat good, wholesome food. You want to have plenty of energy. And you’re suspicious of all the unnatural chemicals in the products you use around the house – not to mention in the medication you give your kids.
But it’s tough to know where to go for more information, right? Where should you start? Who should you trust? You end up flailing around, following a few principles and pieces of advice when you have time, but not really having any sort of roadmap to follow.
My friends over at Spark Health and Ultimate Bundles have put together a FREE mini-course called “The 4 Essential Habits of Healthy Families”.
The course contains a collection of quick and easy-to-follow lessons from trusted bloggers:
- Essential Habit #1: “Nurturing your Best Self” (with Heather from Mommypotamus) – MY COMMENTS: I love and agree completely with all of Heather’s tips. Interestingly enough I had just been focusing on one of her areas of nurturing – sleep and published an article on The Huffington Post. I especially liked the section on journaling – her insights REALLY hit home and re-inspired me to take up this simple and satisfying habit.
- Essential Habit #2: “Staying Fit as a Family (Gym Membership Not Required)” (with Crystal from Money Saving Mom) – MY COMMENTS: Crystal is one of my all time favorite bloggers and her tips in this audio lesson are excellent. I especially liked her ideas around exercising WITH your family.
- Essential Habit #3: “From Scratch Meal-Making” (with Katie from Kitchen Stewardship) – MY COMMENTS: I got a big kick out of Katie’s HOW she does this. She has some really great tips on how to BEGIN moving to eating from scratch. Just like I am, she is a big proponent of meal planning. (Want more specifics on HOW to plan meals? Check out my e-course HERE).
- Essential Habit #4: “Using Natural Remedies” (with Katie from Wellness Mama) – MY COMMENTS: This was so interesting to me – it’s an area I don’t know much about and want to learn more. I will definitely be referring back to this if common illnesses hit our house this winter.
Each lesson comes with a 25-minute audio lesson, PDF transcript, and a practical “Take Action” guide.
