These oils are truly amazing – they can assist with healing, relieve pain, enhance your mood, improve your cleaning, aid in digestion, increase energy, and on and on. Plus, they smell GREAT!
Of course I’m a big proponent of Young Living – after doing my research, I feel that is the right brand for my family. However, I’m not naive enough to think that is the only quality brand of essential oils available. Just do your own research and decide upon a brand you feel safe using (therapeutic grade is best) and give them a try.
Here are some of my favorite uses:
- Drinking them (ONLY a quality brand that is considered safe to ingest – I KNOW most Young Living Oils are, but I CAN’T recommend any other brands for ingesting as I just don’t know enough about them). Lemon water and Peppermint are my favorites.
- Cleaning – a few of my favorite recipes are in this post.
- As a pain reliever. PanAway, Peppermint and Lavender all do a great job.
- As an air freshener – no more chemical laden plug-ins for me!
