Happiness Challenge

Happiness Challenge

Ready to end this month of improving our satisfaction with life with a bang?  Hopefully by now you’ve created a happiness jar and you are using it daily.  If not, go do it right now, or at LEAST grab your list from earlier this month and get ready to use it. Next week I’ll be hosting a 5 day Happiness Challenge starting Monday March 27th.  I’m so excited for this as it will be a fantastic way for you to practice adding happiness to your days.  I want it to become a habit.  A happy habit 🙂 This is how it will work.  Below is a list of daily ideas.  You can do these OR you can pull from your happiness jar or draw from your list – doesn’t matter to me so much WHAT you do as that you are doing something to increase your satisfaction with life every day. Each day you participate, post on Instagram, Facebook or even below in the comments.  I’d love to see a picture or a description of what you did.  Make sure and tag me so I see it (links to my pages below), and add #happyhabit.  Each time I see a post, picture or comment, you’ll get an entry – and at the end of the week, I’ll randomly draw a name – winner will receive a bottle of Young Living Lemon oil so they can enjoy all the projects and ways we learned to use it this month.  Participate each day, you’ll get five entries!  And you’ll have had a week of fun too, so really EVERYONE wins! Daily ideas: Enjoy...
The 4 Essential Habits of Healthy Families

The 4 Essential Habits of Healthy Families

Earlier in the week I sent this to my newsletter subscribers (not on the list?  sign up HERE and get my free “Discover the Perfect Start to Your Day” e-course too!), and it’s such a cool and FREE offer that I wanted to share it with everyone!  Before I promote something like this I like to investigate it myself, so I’ve listened to all four lessons.  Check out my thoughts on each lesson below!!! Like me, I’m sure you worry a lot about the health and fitness of your family! You want everyone to eat good, wholesome food. You want to have plenty of energy. And you’re suspicious of all the unnatural chemicals in the products you use around the house – not to mention in the medication you give your kids. But it’s tough to know where to go for more information, right? Where should you start? Who should you trust? You end up flailing around, following a few principles and pieces of advice when you have time, but not really having any sort of roadmap to follow. Until now. My friends over at Spark Health and Ultimate Bundles have put together a FREE mini-course called “The 4 Essential Habits of Healthy Families”. The course contains a collection of quick and easy-to-follow lessons from trusted bloggers: Essential Habit #1: “Nurturing your Best Self” (with Heather from Mommypotamus) – MY COMMENTS:  I love and agree completely with all of Heather’s tips.  Interestingly enough I had just been focusing on one of her areas of nurturing – sleep and published an article on The Huffington Post.  I especially liked the...

Why EVERYONE should try Lavender Oil & A GIVEAWAY!

We have a winner – Rafflecopter selected a random winner and they will receive a bottle of Young Living Lavender Oil.   If you’d like to purchase your own bottle, go to this page – you’ll automatically be enrolled in the Oil of the Month Club (you don’t have to purchase every month if you don’t want to!), so you’ll get some extra goodies like a private facebook page, tips and tricks for using the oil of the month and more!   If you have any interest at all in essential oils, or have been toying with the idea of giving them a try, THIS is the month you need to join the Oil of the Month Club. Why?  Well because the oil this month is Lavender of course. Lavender is one of the most versatile oils out there – it’s a terrific “first oil” because it has so many uses.  Personally, I use it everyday with my moisturizer and it keeps my skin from looking red and also helps with my allergies.  Plus it smells lovely. When I first started investigating essential oils, I tried using lavender in a TON of different ways.  Here are a few examples: Fun Projects and Gifts Using Lavender Oil Great Ways to Use Lavender Oil Now for some fun!  You can win your OWN bottle of Young Living Lavender Essential Oil by entering the contest below: a Rafflecopter giveaway Didn’t win?  You can still get a bottle of your own, and be a part of the Oil of the Month Club – order your bottle and get more info on the club HERE....
