Last month I did a quick Google+ Hangout called 5 Ways To Be Healthier Today.  By request, I’m sharing that video on my website along with a recap.  Also included is a handout for you to print and post somewhere where you can keep track of what you have tried and how it felt.  Enjoy!

  1.  Hydrate – start each day with a big glass of water.  Later in the day when you are reading this?  Go get a glass NOW.
  2.  Sleep – aim for 7 to 8 hours of sleep each night.  Make a commitment to go to bed by 10:00 tonight (or earlier!) to start getting that needed sleep.
  3.  Move – move your body.  Not sure where to start?  Walk out your front door, walk for ten minutes, turn around and walk home.
  4.  Stretch – take a 5 minute stretch break right now!
  5.  Connect – call a friend today or at least set up a time to meet later this week.
